See a baseball game: We’ll have extra tickets for a game on Sunday, so let us know asap if you want to join us. Otherwise, the Cactus League (major league spring training) plays games throughout March.
Look at cactus: The Desert Botanical Gardens is a good place to start. 1201 North Galvin Parkway, Phoenix.
Hike: The Godfreys and the Lowenthals hike a lot, so they’ll have tips for you. Take a look at Camelback, South Mountain Park, Papago Park, and Piestewa Peak for good in-city trails.
Tour Frank Lloyd Wright’s Desert House: Frank Lloyd Wright fan? Check out Taliesin West for architectural tours and desert walks.
Visit a weird place: Paolo Saleri’s experimental town, Arcosanti, is one hour north of Phoenix. I-17 exit 262 (Cordes Junction).
Investigate the Paranormal: Phoenix ghost tours leave from the San Carlos Hotel, Saturday nights at 8pm. Reservations recommended.
Gamble: You could drive to Vegas or check out an Arizona casino.
